The inception was in the year 1990. It was in that year that the founder Mr. P. V. H. Prasad started the organisation Forest Timbers. Forest Timbers started with the aim of manufacturing door frames, window frames, door shutters, window shutters. This organisation was founded on the core values of Quality and Customer Satisfaction. The organisation was rechristened in the year 1996 to Prithvi Wood Doors. The only change was the name with same core values.

Step by step, Mr. Prasad made strides in the field of timber and manufacturing of doors. He later on in the year 1995 established a Flush Door Manufacturing unit with the aim of manufacturing best quality Flush Door Shutters and Block Boards. Some of our clientele include Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Hyderabad International Airport Hotel, Prajay Engineers Syndicate, Indian School of Business (ISB), Prasads IMAX, Nalsar Law University, NCL Prefab Industries, NCL Seccolor & Alltek, Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. These are just a few companies to name a few. Apart from these big companies we can very proudly say that our main customer base is the direct end users who walk directly into our showroom at New Bowenpally.

Today, Prithvi Wood Doors is synonymous for quality in the field of doors. We basically cater to the requirement of all kinds of wood work one needs while building their dream home. Starting from doors frames, window frames, panel door shutters, window shutters, teak wood carved doors, teak wood pooja room doors, flush door shutters and also block boards which is used for interior partitions and cupboards.

Then in the year 2002, GRP – Glass Reinforced Plastic doors unit was conceived. The prime objective of GRP doors is that these are 100% substitute for wooden door shutters, making them a green product.
